 | | | What is FBLA |
The Future Business Leaders of America at Lewisville High School is a prestigious organization
that teaches students skills to help prepare them for the competitive business world. The
Lewisville High School FBLA gives students the opportunity to compete in various Business,
Computer, and Technology events at the local, state, and national level. The LHS FBLA Chapter
has established a reputation for excellence. LHS has won the Sweepstakes Award at local level
for the past 6 years and plans on doing it again. We have also had many students place at the
state level and advance to compete at the national level competitions.

 | | | Competitive Events |
Students are given the opportunity to compete in a number of events. FBLA events are divided
into three categories, individual, team, and chapter. Students may compete in one event
from each category. Most team and chapter events require an oral presentation to be presented
at the various Leadership Conferences. The individual events give
students the opportunity to demonstrate their computer and business knowledge. A complete list and
description of all FBLA events can be downloaded HERE.
 | | | Scholarships |
Students involved in FBLA have an opportunity to apply for a number of scholarships offered by FBLA as well
